Koby came to us as a stray, but despite his rough start, he has never lost his love for people. This sweet boy thrives on attention, loves making new human friends, and is always ready for a cuddle session. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Koby may be your perfect match.

Unfortunately, shelter life has been very stressful for Koby. Being around other dogs causes him significant anxiety, and he often becomes overwhelmed in his kennel because of it. To help keep him comfortable and safe, our vet has placed him on anxiety medication, and he is housed separately from the other dogs. While these accommodations help, Koby deserves a home where he can finally relax and live without the constant stress and fear that shelter life brings.

Koby would do best as the only dog in the home, but here's the good news—he loves cats! He would have no problem joining a feline-friendly family.

Koby is also an enthusiastic player who sometimes gets a little too excited during playtime. Because of his strength and energy, we believe he would do best in a home with children 12 years of age or older who can comfortably handle his excitement.
